2020 WLCA Gold Award of Excellence for Residential Landscape Design & Construction

The landscape was the final phase of a complete interior and exterior renovation of this classic 1850’s era farmhouse. Over the course of several months, what began as a poorly-graded area with disease-stricken trees and an unimaginative straight entrance walk was transformed into a multi-functional, welcoming space that realizes the full potential of the outdoor area. The walkway is designed to create an experience of moving through space, as opposed to the shortest path from point A to point B. It is inviting and packed full of interest – a few antiquated furnishings that capture the “old world” theme, restored masonry features, large shade trees, decorative planters, lots of color and very adequate lighting.
