American Landscape is seeking individuals who are hard-working and interested in Commercial/Residential Landscape Technician positions. These individual needs to be self-motivated and able to work well independently to provide a high-quality service. The position requires a Driver’s License and clean driving record. Pay is based on experience, starting at $13.00/hour and up.

Key Functions:

  • Provide a high-quality service for our commercial & residential maintenance and snow clients.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Report to work at scheduled starting time and provide a professional appearance.
  • Act professional when speaking to a customer.
  • Keep work area clean and looking professional which includes vehicle, office area, and shop.
  • Clock in and out daily and fill out paperwork.
  • Perform mowing, weeding, pruning, and other property maintenance services to the best of your ability and ask question if there is confusion.
  • Equipment Service – Inform supervisor if equipment needs repair work so daily tasks can be performed.
  • Work during the winter season in our snow operations.

Qualifications:

These individual needs to be self-motivated and able to work well independently to provide a high-quality service. The position requires a Driver’s License and clean driving record. Pay is based on experience, starting at $16.00 /hour and up.

Key Functions:

  • Provide a high-quality service for our commercial & residential clients.

Responsibilities & Duties:

American Landscape is seeking an individual who is hard working and interested in a taking on a challenging role in our Tree Division. This individual needs to be self-motivated and able to work well independently to provide a high-quality service. The position requires a Driver’s License and clean driving record. Top pay based on experience; beginning at $15.00/hour, and up!

Qualifications:

  • • Job type – Full Time
  • • 1 to 3 years of experience as an arborist preferred by not required. We are willing to train the right person.
  • • Driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • • Class “A” CDL driver’s license or the ability to obtain a CDL is a huge plus.
  • • Must have the ability to work with a rope and saddle.
  • • Bucket truck and skid-steer experience preferred.
  • • Ideal candidate will wish to pursue ISA certification.

Immediate responsibilities for this position will include the following:

  • • Seek, identify and pursue new opportunities to market and sell American Landscape’s services
  • • Follow-up on company leads to serve prospective clients
  • • Prepare landscape designs and cost proposals for presentation to clients
  • • Sell sufficient landscape construction, maintenance, arborist and snow removal services to meet your individual sales objective
  • • Coordinate with clients on work schedule/on-site activities/follow-up/procurement as necessary
  • • Direct construction Crew Foremen on site as necessary to ensure proper installation
  • • Coordinate with Maintenance, Arborist, and Snow Crew Supervisors on individual project requirements as necessary
  • • Coordinate with office staff on contracts/monthly billing/miscellaneous administrative items as necessary

This position offers a competitive compensation package, company health insurance package, paid holiday and vacation days, etc. Proficiency in both AutoCad and Microsoft Excel are required. Prior experience in the design-build industry is preferred.

The Outside Sales Representative generates new commercial business selling green season maintenance and snow removal. This person enjoys using various means of prospecting, as well as following company-provided leads to reach new client bases. They develop a rapport with new clients, and set targets for sales and provide support that will continually improve the relationship. The successful sales representative will retain and grow existing accounts by presenting new solutions and services to clients while meeting client’s ongoing needs.

Commercial Sales and Account Manager Responsibilities:

  • • Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business.
  • • Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network.
  • • Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization.
  • • Research and build relationships with new clients.
  • • Set up meetings between client decision makers and company’s practice leaders/Principals.
  • • Plan approaches and pitches.
  • • Develop proposals that speaks to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.
  • • Participate in pricing the solution/service.
  • • Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion.
  • • Use a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately.
  • • Accurately report sales activity on a weekly basis

Client Retention

  • • Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships.
  • • Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs.
