American Landscape is a well-established landscape design-build firm located in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. Currently, we have a great opportunity for a landscape design/sales assistant to aid our landscape design staff in selling and designing our company’s landscape design and installation services, in addition to other services we offer.  This is a dynamic position with new challenges and a wide variety of activities throughout the year. With regard to our design and construction services, the successful candidate will help our design staff in preparing site 3D models, inventories, drawings, cost estimates and proposals. At times, this person may be asked to visit construction sites to aid in design layout, plant placement, crew direction and other work relevant to overseeing successful installations.

During the off season, the design/sales assistant may be asked to be more involved in other aspects of the business. This may include measuring sites, keeping records of site requirements, as well as preparing internal paperwork and proposals. When sales are completed, the person in this role will help prepare internal paperwork relative to the project for submittal to our production team.

In addition to our sales process, this position may include duties related to our marketing efforts. We are constantly seeking new content for digital and print marketing including imagery and videos from our sites and in the landscape. In addition, this person will help seek new ways to gain industry recognition through award submittals, etc.

Experience in 3D Design and some landscape/horticulture knowledge is required. This is a great opportunity for a new graduate with a Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Graphic Design, Horticulture or other relevant degree. However, no degree is required if a candidate possesses the relevant experience, skills and passion for design required. In addition, previous exposure to the following computer software is preferred:  AutoCad, SketchUp, U-Vision, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, etc.), Excel, Word, Google Earth

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Landscape Designer/Architect to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will have experience designing, presenting and selling outdoor spaces that are visually appealing and functional for both residential and commercial clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget for outdoor projects.
  • Develop conceptual plans and detailed designs using CAD, Uvision or other design tools.
  • Select appropriate materials, plants, and features that align with the project’s aesthetic and practical goals.
  • Provide cost estimates and timelines for landscape projects.
  • Prepare and give compelling presentations so as to secure contracts and achieve sales goals.
  • Work closely with construction managers and foreman to ensure that crews are delivering beautiful results to our clients.

Requirements:

  • Experience in residential or commercial landscape design and related sales.
  • Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Uvision, SketchUp, or Similar).
  • Strong understanding of horticulture, hardscape materials, and sustainable landscaping practices.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • A creative mindset with an eye for detail and design.
  • A valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Landscape Architecture, Landscape Design, or a related field.

American Landscape is seeking a dedicated and motivated Landscape Maintenance Foreman to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in delivering high-quality landscape maintenance services for both commercial and residential clients. As a Foreman, you will lead a team of technicians or be a one-man crew, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct landscape maintenance crews on commercial and residential properties
  • Ensure all work is performed to company standards and client expectations
  • Perform mowing, weeding, pruning, and general property maintenance tasks
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor when interacting with clients and team members
  • Keep vehicles, equipment, and work areas clean and organized
  • Monitor equipment condition and report any maintenance needs to supervisors
  • Accurately clock in and out daily and adhere to scheduled start times
  • Participate in snow operations during the winter season as needed

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of professional experience in landscape maintenance, including mowing
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
  • Pesticide Applicator’s License (preferred, but not required)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Compensation

Ranging from $20.00 – $27.00 per hour, high rate available for candidates with extensive experience and qualifications.

  • Provide high-quality maintenance services for commercial and residential properties.

  • Clock in and out daily and complete necessary paperwork.

  • Notify the supervisor if equipment requires repair to ensure daily tasks can be completed.
