2023 WLCA Award-Winning Hardscape Project

The renovation of this Elm Grove home called for a transformation of its outdoor space into a contemporary oasis perfectly suited for entertaining. Departing from traditional designs commonly found in the neighborhood, our clients sought a sleek, modern aesthetic to complement the home’s upgrades. Techo-Bloc materials were carefully selected to achieve this desired look, with Graphix accents adding depth and sophistication. The patio features Para large slabs arranged in a clean herringbone pattern, accented by unique Diamond paver inlays in a geometric arrangement.  Our dedicated crew overcame the challenge of a winter installation – working in temperatures that dipped to subzero!

Designed with large gatherings in mind, the outdoor space boasts amenities ideal for hosting guests. An 8-foot gas fire pit serves as a focal point, surrounded by ample seating space for a 10-chair dining table and a custom grill island equipped for cooking, serving, and casual lounging. Additionally, a conveniently placed planter near the kitchen door offers easy access to fresh herbs and vegetables for culinary endeavors. Minimalist landscaping along the patio’s edge provides a subtle border, while hardscape cap lights beneath the kitchen island counter and fire pit create a captivating ambiance for evening gatherings. With this revitalized outdoor area, the homeowners now have a stylish and functional extension of their living space, perfect for both entertaining and relaxation.
