Senior Plant Health Care Technician

Position Overview:
American Landscape is seeking an individual who is hard working and interested in taking on a challenging role in our Lawn & Tree Care Division. This individual needs to be self-motivated and able to work well independently to provide a high-quality service. Top pay will commiserate experience and qualifications.
Qualifications:
- Job type – Full-time availability.
- Must have 3.0 Wisconsin Applicator Certification.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
- Ability to identify plants/trees/shrubs as well as diagnose insect, fungal, and abiotic issues.
- Preferred: Background in forestry or horticulture
- Preferred: Background in estimating and sales for Plant Heath Care
Experience:
- Lawn care: Minimum of 1 year (Required)

Responsibilities & Duties:

Immediate responsibilities for this position will include the following:
- Seek, identify and pursue new opportunities to market and sell American Landscape’s services
- Follow-up on company leads to serve prospective clients
- Prepare landscape designs and cost proposals for presentation to clients
- Sell sufficient landscape construction, maintenance, arborist and snow removal services to meet your individual sales objective
- Coordinate with clients on work schedule/on-site activities/follow-up/procurement as necessary
- Direct construction Crew Foremen on site as necessary to ensure proper installation
- Coordinate with Maintenance, Arborist, and Snow Crew Supervisors on individual project requirements as necessary
- Coordinate with office staff on contracts/monthly billing/miscellaneous administrative items as necessary
This position offers a competitive compensation package, company health insurance package, paid holiday and vacation days, etc. Proficiency in both AutoCad and Microsoft Excel are required. Prior experience in the design-build industry is preferred.
High compensation with incentives will commensurate with experience, qualifications and performance ranging from $65,000.00 – $150,000.00 annually.

Arborist
We are offering a signing bonus of $500.00!!
American Landscape is seeking an individual who is hard working and interested in a taking on a challenging role in our Tree Division. This individual needs to be self-motivated and able to work well independently to provide a high-quality service. The position requires a Driver’s License and clean driving record. Top pay based on experience; ranging from $26.00 to $35.00 per hour.
Qualifications:
- Must undergo a background investigation in accordance with local laws and regulations.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States of America.
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
- 3 years of experience as an arborist preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right person.
- Valid Driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Class “A” CDL driver’s license or the ability to obtain a CDL is a huge plus.
- Must have the ability to work with a rope and saddle.
- Bucket truck and skid-steer experience preferred.
- Ideal candidate will wish to pursue ISA certification.

Pay is $17.00 – $26.00 per hour, based on experience.

Sales Assistant
Job Purpose: Responsible for working closely with the sales staff to assist them in selling American Landscape’s Landscape Maintenance, Arborist/tree care and Snow removal services:
General Duties:
- Preparing site inventories by taking measurements from aerial imagery on computer.
- Preparing site inventories by visiting sites to gather measurements of existing conditions.
- Preparing cost estimates and proposals on computer.
- Preparing job tickets on computer with relevant contractual information for production managers, sales staff, office staff and management.
- Day to day acquisition and facilitation of client portfolio.
- Accrue and manage service partner/sub-contractor relationships and subsequent performance.
- Provide seamless communication and reporting between sales staff and management.
- Master the company’s job routing procedures, and help ensure that job packets are complete and accurate.
- Aid in coordination and submittal of snow billing paperwork from service partners with respect to formatting and timing per company and division procedures.
- Manage service partners performance and paperwork.
- Provide excellent customer service and contractor support.
- Client data base additions.
- Job proposal creation.
- Job ticket creation and maintenance.
- Maintain service partners/sub-contractors service records.
- Enter conventional/non-conventional snow service partners/sub-contractors’ performance into company spreadsheets.
- Enter conventional/non-conventional snow billing.
- Enter information into profit and loss reports.
- Maintain weekly timesheet.
- Additional duties will be assigned as determined.
In addition to American Landscape’s sales assistant process, this position may include duties related to our marketing efforts:
- Site photography and drone photography.
- Client accrued retention including ongoing communication and acumen for problem solving.
- Help gather and prepare project information for award submittals.
- Canvas, identify and explore potential service partners/sub-contractors and clients.
Learning the Trade(s) -Timeline for implementation to be determined.
- Training will consist of all types of Company sales: conventional, non-conventional, green, snow, commercial maintenance, commercial construction and Arborist work.
