Arborist Technician
American Landscape is celebrating over 50 years of excellence and is seeking a dedicated Arborist to join our Tree Division. This role is perfect for someone who is hardworking, self-motivated, and capable of working independently to provide high-quality service. Responsibilities
- Report to work at the scheduled starting time and maintain a professional appearance.
- Communicate professionally with customers.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including vehicles, office spaces, and the shop.
- Clock in and out daily and complete necessary paperwork.
- Perform arborist services to the best of your ability and seek clarification when needed.
- Inform the supervisor if equipment requires repair to ensure daily tasks can be performed.
- Participate in snow operations during the winter season.
Qualifications
- Full-time availability.
- 1 to 3 years of experience as an arborist is required.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Class “A” CDL driver’s license or the ability to obtain one is a plus.
- Ability to work with a rope and saddle.
- Experience with bucket trucks and skid-steers is preferred.
- Interest in pursuing ISA certification is ideal.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Immediate responsibilities for this position will include the following:
- Seek, identify and pursue new opportunities to market and sell American Landscape’s services
- Follow-up on company leads to serve prospective clients
- Prepare landscape designs and cost proposals for presentation to clients
- Sell sufficient landscape construction, maintenance, arborist and snow removal services to meet your individual sales objective
- Coordinate with clients on work schedule/on-site activities/follow-up/procurement as necessary
- Direct construction Crew Foremen on site as necessary to ensure proper installation
- Coordinate with Maintenance, Arborist, and Snow Crew Supervisors on individual project requirements as necessary
- Coordinate with office staff on contracts/monthly billing/miscellaneous administrative items as necessary
This position offers a competitive compensation package, company health insurance package, paid holiday and vacation days, etc. Proficiency in both AutoCad and Microsoft Excel are required. Prior experience in the design-build industry is preferred.

- Valid driver’s license. A review of the MVR will be conducted for eligibility.
